I want to write to a mailslot using a netbios username like Net Send on
XP could. My understanding is that a NetBIOS name has to be 16
characters including the trailing special character which I believer
for what I want to do is <03>. would the mailslot name be
\\username<03>\mailslot\messngr ?

Thanks

Seeing as nothing in the question is VB specific, you're more likely to
get a response from comp.os.ms-windows.programmer.win32.
